About Hans D. Katzberg

Dr. Katzberg is a neurologist and neuromuscular specialist who received his training in biochemistry and medicine at the University of British Columbia, neurology at the University of Toronto and fellowships in Electrodiagnostics (EMG) and Neuromuscular Medicine at Stanford University, where he also received a Master’s in Clinical Epidemiology

Dr. Katzberg works at the Prosserman Center for Neuromuscular Diseases and is a clinical investigator at the Krembil Brain Institute and University Health Network in Toronto. He is an Associate Professor of Medicine (Neurology) and Associate Member of the Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS) and Centre for Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (T-CAREIM) at the University of Toronto.

Dr. Katzberg’s research and clinical interests include the assessment and treatment of neuropathy, muscle cramps and neuromuscular junction disorders including myasthenia gravis.
